Lending a helping hand at Christmas

Winchester Car Sales, along with other sponsors of Sheffield United, have come together to help spread some festive cheer.

Sheffield United players and coaching staff will take part in a Christmas community visit day which will see the first team squad and some of the younger players simultaneously visit four organisations - the Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Hallam FM (for the radio station’s Mission Christmas event) and Norfolk Park Special Needs School.

Tajinder Singh and Harminder Bains, directors of Winchester Car Sales, have helped the cause by providing funding and support for the players to visit the organisations and deliver gifts, as well as donating a van which will be used to transport gifts on the day.

Tajinder said: “We take our community work very seriously, and we are proud and honoured to donate to the cause.

“The work that these charities and good causes do is truly amazing and we hope the gifts go some way to brightening their Christmas."
